Monograms Plus is partnering with Vera Bradley’s Breast Cancer Foundation in the first ever “Think Pink” event that will kick off our annual signature event – Girls’ Night Out! Please join us at 5 pm on Tuesday, October 18th at Rumors Deli to hear Heidi Floyd, Vera Bradley’s Breast Cancer Ambassador, share her incredibly moving story. Heidi, a long time Vera Bradley employee, was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with her fourth child, Noah.
Tickets to Think Pink are $10, and include a boxed supper from Rumors Deli, admission to hear Heidi speak, and early admittance to Girls’ Night Out! Proceeds will be donated to the Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation, which has contributed $12.25 million to the world renowned research team in the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. Special recognition will be given to survivors. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Monograms Plus; they will NOT be available at the door.
Tickets are NOT required for entrance to Girls Night Out – it will begin at 6 pm and last until 9 pm. As always, we offer double Reward Card punches and 10% off storewide with completion of a Wish List, excluding only Brighton and Pandora. Reps from Vera Bradley, Brighton, Pandora, Life is good, Tyler Candles, Swan Creek Candles, Natural Life, Richard Russell Art, Caren and more will be in attendance to answer questions and assist shoppers, along with several special guests!
Mr.Tim Penland will be here for a book signing. His “The True Night Before Christmas” is a biblical adaptation of the traditional story, and was written for his granddaughter upon her birth in 1999. At the age of 7, that granddaughter, Savannah, illustrated his story. It is destined to be a holiday classic.
We are also thrilled to have Jennifer Stevens, the artist and founder of Brushfire Designs join us. Jennifer’s hand-painted crosses are gorgeous on canvas, ornaments, and wall décor. Her tee shirt line features her artwork combined with appropriate bible verses – have her autograph yours!
There will be door prizes given away throughout the night. This is a great “girlfriend” shopping opportunity, and definitely your best opportunity to get great savings on your upcoming Christmas gift list! We hope to see you there!
